Noting that ntp.org uses CACert.org certificates (if you get a certificate error, you\'re not): https://support.ntp.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=780 http://bugs.gentoo.org/171119 In short, use the right kernel. This, of course, doesn\'t help those of us using the latest available version of Xen from Gentoo, which is the last kernel bugged in relation to this issue, which means that the workaround mentioned near the bottom of the NTP thread may be our only recourse...as [rant] it might be discovered after several days of configuration on a server JUST released to production...and you want to beat someone for something like this[/rant]. Sorry, I meant...there\'s a workaround, or explaining to several companies why you\'re taking their server down again.
