rpcgen is the first program which is executed through the newly built ld.so
using new libc.so.  Therefore rpcgen failure during a glibc build means
the newly built ld.so is buggy.

This was caused, for me, by having Pax enabled in the kernel I was running while I tried to install glibc.

I removed it, recompiled, rebooted, and it worked fine.
