If you have a NativeQuery on Hibernate like

SELECT column1, column2, \'sometext\'

just use

SELECT column1, column2, TEXT(\'sometext\')

or some other form of CAST.

Note that ::text won\'t work because hibernate thinks it\'s a named param.
