Linux: Disable lame server Logging for Bind
"What is lame server?

If you are a Bind DNS user, or server administrator, you may notice your system logs are filled with \"lame server resolving\" messages when bind does lookups for domain names. This is caused by the NS record for a particular domain is not the authoritive server for that domain. Regardless of what causes it, this is a problem and it may fill up your system logs and make it difficult to find the important information you need such as hardware problems and etc.

Disable lame server Logging

Let's disable this "lame server" logging once and for all! First, you'll need to know where your named.conf file is located. Usually, it is located in /etc/named.conf and it contains a list of zones your server is configured to serve DNS for as well as some other basic settings for named. By default, here's what ours looks like:"
