Remove man (apt-get remove man)

Run the following as root:
echo man:x:6:12:man:/var/cache/man:/bin/sh >> /etc/passwd
echo man:x:12: >> /etc/group
apt-get install man-db
apt-get install less
apt-get install man

...and that should work.

You are missing some /dev files.

Look for /dev/tty, console, std[in|out|err], etc
