I eliminated this warning by removing jetty, libcommons-daemon-java (1.0.2) and jsvc (1.0.2). Then I loaded updated versions of libcommons-daemon-java (1.0.8), jsvc (1.0.8) using the GDebi Package Installer to confirm dependencies. They are available on the ftp.debian.org site or search for them in a newer Ubuntu release. And finally I installed jetty again - the warning error went away and jetty runs nicely. I am currently running Ubuntu 10.10. Hope this works for you.
