I had this issue when I was using OpenVz you need to disable ip conntract for your virtual interface

You can do this by adding the following line to your modprode configuration

"vi /etc/modprobe.conf"

if this file does not exist then create a new config file in modprode.d
vi /etc/modprobe.d/disablecon.conf

then change the following option from 1 to 0

options ip_conntrack ip_conntrack_disable_ve0=0
