This is on Cisco switches that have different vlans on each side of a connection. The native (main) vlan should be the same on both sides. Even with trunks, a native vlan can be set (by default, this is vlan 1). This error is not fatal, just annoying.
Actually, the term "native vlan" only applies to trunk ports (or, to be more specific, only to 802.1q trunks). While it is true that the error is not fatal, it can lead to connectivity problems and/or inter-VLAN frame leaking.
